3. Safety record

All of our instructors put safety at the forefront of their training.
In addition to FAA weather minimums, we have flight school policies to ensure that weather is always safe and comfortable before taking off.
The plane is inspected before every flight, by both the student and instructor.
Every plane goes through a series of complete FAA inspections, to include one every 100 hours of use.
Our instructors are well-experienced, knowledgeable, and are here because they are passionate about teaching.

4. Fun

Fly above downtown. Fly above your home. Fly over the beaches.
Things get much closer when you fly. Saint Simons Island is only 50 minutes away in a 172 versus almost 2 hours in a car—and when you fly in, there is a great barbecue place within walking distance of the airfield.
You can get a pilot’s license just as a hobby. Many of our former students now own their own airplanes and still fly out of the same airport where they took their discovery flight.
